APB will be holding live gameplay demonstrations for selected members of the press at GamesCom 2009, hosted by EJ Moreland and Chris “Deum” Collins!

Focusing on the game from the enforcer’s perspective, our two enforcers will be playing live for the audience showing a level of detail about how the game works and how it plays, never seen before. With an open Q&A session featured as part of the demo, the press will be able to ask all the burning questions they have been saving up since E3 and see the answers played out before their eyes.

GamesCom will also be the first public screening of a brand new gameplay video featuring Epic Games’ Mark Rein!

The game play video will show our noob enforcer (played by Mark Rein) learning to get to grips with the mean streets of San Paro, with help from our experienced enforcer (played by Chris “Deum” Collins). Being a criminal in APB is a lot of fun but so is being an enforcer and our “Training Day” style video shows why! With excellent live footage of the “living city”, missions, open world activities and shoot outs between our heroes and the criminal elements of San Paro, plus details of how enforcers can arrest criminals and respond to criminal activities; this hands on video shows more detail of how it feels to play APB than anything released by Realtime Worlds so far. Will Mark be tough enough to stand up to the criminals of San Paro? Will he survive his first patrol? Come along to Hall 06 Stand: B73/C72 + A71/C70 and find out!
